Providence is calling a Resident Services Coodinator(Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) toProvidence Heritage House in downtown Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Participate with the RN to evaluate all residents moving into the community to determine that the staff will be able to care for their needs.
Under direction of the RN, develop, deliver and evaluate departmental services for residents.
Resolve day to day issues between staff residents and families.
Provide excellent personal care and emotional support as written on the service plan and teach these skills to paraprofessional staff.
Observe and communicate changes in resident condition, communicates with MD per protocol. Ensure necessary changes are made to service plan or temporary plan is put in place.
Provide supervisory oversight including performance evaluations for Resident Aides.
Required qualifications for this position:
NAC, Nurse Delegation certificate, Modified Fundamentals of Care Certificate, Caregiver Specialty Dementia and Mental Health Certificate
5 years successful work with older adults in residential settings (Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Facility or Home Health)
