Position: Physician – Family Medicine w/o OB
Location: Longview, WA
Duties: Diagnose and treat internal disorders, such as hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, and problems of the lung, brain, kidney, and gastrointestinal tracts. Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients. Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. Provide and manage long-term, comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases, for adult patients. Manage and treat common health problems, such as infections, influenza and pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results. Make diagnoses when different illnesses occur together or in situations where the diagnosis may be obscure. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribe treatments with patients. Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
M.D. or D.O. or foreign equivalent degree
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited U.S. Family Medicine Residency or CFPC-accredited Canadian Family Medicine Residency
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington (or ability to obtain unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington prior to hire)
Board Certified in Family Medicine by the ABFM, AOBFP, or CFPC or Board Eligible (If Board Eligible, must achieve Board Certification within five (5) years of completion of residency and applicants must agree to do so.)
Wage Range: $186,405.96 to $218,573 per year
