PeaceHealth has a unique position in primary care that allows you to work in a variety of primary care clinics. Providers in this float position (Flex Pool) will live and work in one of our 3 networks gaining experience in a variety of outpatient settings. Our current Flex Pool providers chose this opportunity for its dynamic work environments, great work-life balance, and flexible practice model. Overview : Our flex pool providers cover for other providers in the case of vacation, maternity leave, illness, or where a position vacancy may exist. This is similar to an in-house locums position, however you'll have the security of full time employment, benefits, and salary. Providers would have the opportunity to move into a permanent position if desired. Clinic settings include urgent care, same-day clinics, and traditional primary care clinics. The expectation is 14-shifts per month and with 32 patient contact hours per week. Current locations include in Oregon include Eugene/Springfield metro area and coastal Florence.
Eugene/Springfield is located at the south end of the Willamette Valley, near the confluence of the McKenzie and Willamette rivers, about 50 miles east of the Oregon Coast.
