The Sales Director is responsible for the representation and direct sales for the continuing care retirement community. The Sales Director accomplishes this by developing action plans and implementing them to follow up on new leads, supervising the sales efforts of a sales team, and conducting direct sales for the residential apartments. The Sales Director acts as a department manager and is responsible for management duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. This position respectfully interacts with all residents, family members, visitors and co-workers and maintains a positive customer service relationship practicing honesty and integrity in all aspects of job performance.
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience and education required. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in sales, senior living sales and marketing, or real estate. Of the 5 years, it is preferable that 2 of the years be in senior living sales and marketing. This individual should be self-motivated and creative, possessing a high degree of interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to the public in a pleasant and professional manner.
