The Eye Surgery Center is currently searching for a full time highly motivated Center Leader for a busy state-of-the-art ophthalmology ambulatory surgery center in the Silver Spring, Maryland area Monday – Friday (no on-call), who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks within the authority of the Board of Directors.Major Responsibilities Include:•Philosophy, Goals and Objectives of the Organization•Center Business and Financial Activities•Personnel Management •State and Federal Regulations/Accrediting Agencies•Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement•Continuing Education•Environment of Care•Safety /Risk Management Program•Privacy Program•Medical Records•Internal Compliance Program•Professional Competence•Responsibilities for Assets• Drug & Medical Supply Management Regular and reliable attendance required.Successful candidate will pass a background check and drug screen.
Education/Experience:• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of five (5) years within the healthcare industry with two (3-5) years in supervisory or administrative position preferred. Ambulatory Surgery Center and Operating Room experience required, Ophthalmology surgery experience preferred.
