The Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin (RHOW) is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Hospital that is dedicated to restoring lives. We are a result of the joint venture/partnership between ProHealth Care and Kindred Healthcare to meet the growing rehabilitation needs of the region.
RHOW specializes in treating patients with many diagnoses, including, but not limited to, stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological and cardiac disorders. In 2016, RHOW has received Joint Commission Disease Specific Specialization in Stroke and Amputee Rehabilitation.
This position requires working every third weekend and hours are 1800-0600.
The Clinical Supervisor (CS) functions under the direction and supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer and assumes responsibility for the Nursing Department. The CS in collaboration with the CCO, Nurse Manager and leadership team assists to implement, interpret and assure compliance with policies and procedures including regulatory and accreditation standards. The CS directly supervises the RNs, LPNs and CNAs and is the leader in charge when administration is out of the building. The CS is responsible for implementing hospital goals and objectives based on budget parameters. The CS reinforces the mission and vision of the hospital in all interactions.
Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. BSN Preferred.
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
CRRN Certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of nurse supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
