Acts as the primary secretarial resource for staff members ofthe nursing unit. Directs communication andpatient information within the nursing unit. Enters required information in the Order Entry System and other necessarycomputer databases. Assists in orderingsupplies and other duties to ensure smooth functioning of the unit on a dailybasis. Accurately maintains departmentlogs and data as required.
. High School degreeor equivalent preferred.
Previoussecretarial experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Knowledgeof medical terminology preferred.
Basiccomputer skills preferred.
