To provide oversight of the nursing staff and operations for the assigned area. To ensure adequate staffing, supplies and equipment are available. To assist in providing direct nursing care to patients in the assigned area.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS
Assists with developing and implementing on-going service programs to ensure quality nursing and patient care programs at BHS.
Collaborates with manager to ensure proper utilization of assigned area's financial resources.
Participates in the development of nursing staff. Maintains positive employee relations throughout the assigned area. Serves as a preceptor for nursing staff and students. Interviews, trains and directs staff. Develops and evaluates personnel within the department.
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Required: 1 year RN experience.
Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR
