Detroit Medical Group, part of Tenet Physician Resources, seeks an experienced Revenue Cycle Management analyst to support our approximately 350 providers in the Detroit market.
The Sr. Analyst provides RCM analytics for the practice managers and staff, including payer trends for edits, rejects and denials of claims. This role requires knowledge of physician practice revenue cycle management and the ability to train and coach providers and their support staff in billing and collection best practices. The role requires movement throughout the Detroit market, about 75% of the time. (Mileage reimbursement is paid to employees).
High degree of proficiency in Excel is essential. The Senior Analyst will analyze trends, metrics, KPI's and interpret these results for the Senior Management team, providers and staff.
ï¿½Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
ï¿½5+ yearsï¿½ experience in Revenue Cycle in large physician practice or revenue cycle company
ï¿½Excellent written/verbal & presentation communication skills
ï¿½Strong analytical skills
ï¿½Knowledge of Excel/Outlook/Word/PowerPoint
ï¿½Athena Practice management systems experience a plus
ï¿½Experience with front end claim editing systems and eligibility software systems
ï¿½Knowledge of payer and industry rules and regulations
ï¿½Ability to work independently without onsite direct supervision
ï¿½Ability to handle multiple projects and adjust priorities
