We are seeking a full-time Controller who will be responsible for:
Working in collaboration with the hospital CEO to ensure all required financial processes are followed in accordance with recognized financial principles.
Ensuring accounting and internal control policies, systems and procedures are in place and followed.
Overseeing the hospital's financial, purchasing and billing practices plus ensuring that all expenditures and distributions are consistent with policies and procedures. Investigates monthly variances in operating budgets; maintains and submits statistical analysis of fiscal and operations information.
Working in collaboration with hospital leadership team and staff members to manage costs while ensuring patient care items are in place to meet the needs of the patients we serve.
Assisting department heads in analyzing and interpreting financial data and reports and with presenting that information to their departments.
Ensuring accurate information and reports are provided on a timely basis to facility and corporate financial leadership. Assisting with external audits, examinations and financial projects.
Directly supervises Central Supply Manager, Health Information Manager, Accountant and Accounting Assistant.
Actively participates as a member of the hospital's leadership team which includes serving as Administrator-On-Call on a rotating basis.

Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of three years of successful accounting or finance experience that includes planning, coordinating and evaluating financial activities, preferably in a hospital environment
A minimum of one year of successful supervisory experience
Strong analytical and financial management skills
Effective oral and written communications skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proficiency with MS Office software, including Excel
