PACS a fast growing and established Salt Lake City healthcare services company is seeking an experience Litigation Claims Manager for its Legal Risk Team. Candidate will manage outside counsel and work with providers to investigate and provide advice and leadership.
You will be assigned to a growing caseload of 50-60 claims and have great latitude in closing out matters. You will be responsible for establishing budgets and managing outside counsel activity.
The candidate will have a clinical risk manager as a resource to review records and develop fact based defenses for outside counsel to use. At PACS we always focus on clinical expectations and outcomes FIRST. You will have the support you need to be successful.
You will have responsibility to make QA suggestions for improvement and will have the support of Clinical and Operations leadership. Group trainings either live or ZOOM may be required. Travel estimated at 5%-10%.
Compensation is competitive, and bonus opportunities are real. Looking for 3-6 years of experience and the best candidate will be intelligent, well spoken, assertive, proactive and want to win in a difficult litigation environment. BS required. Masters or JD especially welcome but not required.
