ScionHealth is recruiting a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to support our Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) Division. This position will require a significant presence in Louisville, KY.
Develops and implements the LTACH Division's strategic plans, policies and procedures for providing the financial resources to conduct the division's business, safeguard its assets, measure and report the results of its financial performance.
Establishes major economic objectives and policies for the LTACH Division to achieve maximum profits and increased revenue.
Evaluates individual facility operating effectiveness and the total division's performance on a continuing basis.
Prepares reports outlining the LTACH Division's financial position in the areas of income, expenses and revenue based on past, present and future operations.
Counsels managers as to exceptions and provides direction for the modification of work plans or contingency plans in accordance with prevailing business conditions.
Develops practices and procedures for proper financial control.
A global understanding of the competitive issues confronting healthcare
Expert knowledge of internal controls, financial systems and analysis, cost accounting, reporting requirements, and budgeting within a healthcare environment
Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
Ability to make sound financial decisions
Ability to analyze projected markets, business, environmental, and economic trends and their impact on short- and long-term requirements
Approximate percent of time required to travel: 10
Master of Business Administration, Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting
8+ years as a senior finance manager, preferably with a healthcare organization.
