Asan Employee Health Nurse you will:
Under generalsupervision manages employee health services and the hospitalâ€™s Workerâ€™sCompensation program.
Managesemployee health initiatives such as maintaining employee health files, employeeTB screenings/chest x-rays, vaccines, etc.
Coordinates and conducts new employeehealth screenings.
Identifies employee illnesses,exposures and injuries in order to assess risk potential for prevention oftransmission or recurrences.
Develops and maintains policies andprocedures to direct the activities of the employee health program.
Administers Employee Hepatitis BVaccine program.
Institutes employee work restrictionsif the potential for transmission of infection exists.
Serves on committees, as appropriate,which are involved in selection, evaluation and design and impact the employeehealth program.
Enters incident/claim information intothe Event Reporting System (ERS).
Acts as a liaison for OSHA orDepartment of Industry, Labor and Human Relations (DILHR) inspections.
Maintains the OSHA log.
Asan Employee Health Nurse you willhave:
Associates degreeleading toward licensure as a Registered Nurse / RNÂ or Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN.
Valid state licensureas a Registered Nurse / RN or Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN.
1 year clinicalexperience in medical-surgical or critical care nursing.
