Serves as the System's expert resource in assuring knowledge and compliance with all governmental agency regulations dealing with safety and wellness in the workplace. Maintains OSHA/BBP/Injury logs & exposures. Advocates for the health and safety of all Centura staff. May be responsible for coordinating the W/C program and activities designed to prevent, assess and treat work related injuries and hazardous exposures; facilitates case management of workers' comp claims, files First Report of Injury after reviewing/investigating incidents. Reviews visit notes to coordinate back to work (work-related and non work-related)/light duty w/ managers and interacts w/ managers/HRD for associates who can't be released to work. Directs the activity of the Occupational Health Technician as needed. May involve travel or remote support for geographical team(s). What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:* Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's preferred * One year of clinical RN experience required * Prior Occupational Health experience is preferred or working knowledge of Occupational Health to include blood borne pathogens; immunizations; communicable diseases, knowledge of worker's compensation procedures and regulations * RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable* Basic Life Support required Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantlyYour Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
