The role you’ll contribute:
The RN Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling Surgical and Endoscopy patients in the Epic Scheduling Module; obtaining and entering accurate insurance information; answering incoming phone calls; transcribing physician orders and sending to appropriate departments.

·Advanced computer skills. Competence with Epic Scheduling module. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately. Communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. Ability to work effectively with other employees, physician offices and external parties. Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Kansas Registered Nurse License
·BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
·Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or obtained within 4 years of employment
·Graduate from accredited professional school of nursing
·At least two years experience in patient care in a hospital setting required.
