Overview
Beebe Healthcare is hiring an experienced Invasive Cardiology Nurse for our Cath Lab holding area. In this role, you will oversee pre- and post-procedure patient care, ensure accurate equipment and controlled drug inventory management, and apply your expertise in moderate sedation and emergency response. Become a vital member of our team by leveraging your skills in cardiology nursing and making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate complete working knowledge of all equipment in the department and convey both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in Invasive Cardiology Nursing.
Assist physicians in the cath lab by preparing equipment and supplies, positioning patients, and administering medications according to departmental policy.
Review patient charts to identify potential risks and ensure safe, effective patient care in the holding area.
Provide care for patients undergoing Moderate Sedation and manage access sites post-procedure.
Maintain and manage the controlled drug inventory in accordance with prescribed policies and ensure the crash cart and drug box are stocked and properly dated.
Recognize and respond to emergency situations, initiating code procedures, and administering CPR or first aid as needed.
Prepare and administer medications per physician orders.
Assist with inventory management, order supplies, and participate in product evaluation for cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications
Required: Registered Nurse (RN)License
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute Health (NIH)
Preferred: Minimum one-year Critical Care experience
Must complete Point of Care Testing training as part of Department Orientation. .
