Social Worker (Program Coordinator)
The Social Worker serves as Program Coordinator at the GS-12 grade and is administratively and clinically responsible for Grant and Per Diem (GPD) Programs providing treatment to Veterans experiencing homelessness. The Social Worker is regarded as an expert in this specialty area and provides direct Veteran care services, in addition to administrative duties, in the San Francisco VA Health Care System's (SFVAHCS) GPD programs. Basic Requirements: 1. United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. 2. English Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English to be appointed as authorized by 38 U.S.C. ยง 7403(f). 3. Education: Candidates must have a master's degree
