Beebe Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse who will be responsible for facilitating, implementing, and evaluating the Patient Plan of Care and outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to promote positive patient results and be recognized as a patient advocate
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Timely implementation of nursing interventions based on patient needs, while ensuring high standards of clinical competence.
Utilize critical thinking to assess, analyze, and communicate patient information promptly, ensuring appropriate clinical judgment.
Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, responses, and communications with healthcare providers.
Identify patient safety risks, implement safety interventions, and follow the medication safety policy to ensure optimal patient care.
Complete required Safety Tracking Tools and ensure the use of appropriate safety interventions, including for skin integrity, fall risks, and restraints.
Supervise and delegate tasks to assigned staff, ensuring all patient care is delivered efficiently and addressing performance issues promptly.
Assess and address the educational needs of patients and families, providing both written and verbal instructions and documenting accordingly.
Review and implement provider orders in a timely manner every shift, ensuring ongoing prioritization of patient care responsibilities based on urgency and needs.
Demonstrate effective time management and problem-solving skills, multitasking efficiently while maintaining professional accountability.
Engage actively in unit-based councils and contribute to performance improvement initiatives, working toward solutions that benefit the unit and patient outcomes.
Ensure the timely completion of required education, annual competencies, and professional development.

Founded in 1916 by two physician brothers, Drs. James Beebe and Richard C. Beebe, the medical center in Lewes is a 210-licensed-bed, not-for-profit seaside community hospital. Beebe's specialized service lines include cardiac and vascular, surgical services, oncology, women's health, and orthopaedic services.
