The Clinical Pathways Program Manager provides expertise, leadership, management, coordination, and facilitation supporting the development of Clinical Pathways Program at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford with the goal of achieving optimal outcomes for our patients. As a member of the Analytics and Clinical Effectiveness Department, Center for Pediatric and Maternal Value, the Program Manager will represent in a consultative role with providers, analysts, hospital staff and administrative leadership and collaboratively enact appropriate Clinical Pathways.

Leads development and delivery of the Clinical Pathways Program at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford including program objectives and development of related policies and plans. Operationalizes department plans, including business, service and/or organizational priorities.
Coordinates and collaborates with medical providers, clinical teams, and multi-disciplinary resource team to lead and drive cross-organization business and process improvements for evidence-based Clinical Pathways for condition specific standardization of care.
Guided by department objectives, sets priorities for the Clinical Pathways Program. Actively plans and drives cross-functional teams to deliver against plans and timelines as well as sets goals, generates plans to meet goals, and facilitates the completion of goals in collaboration with the Clinical Pathways Team. Manages and allocates resources to align with business objectives.
Serves as the liaison to the clinical leadership team and administrative consultants of the hospital to identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational problems. Applies critical thinking to recommend standards and operating strategies that mitigate risk and propel growth.
Accountable for the performance and results of the Clinical Pathways Program. Facilitates dialogues with requestors and clinical leadership, coordinate analytic support, perform resource assessment and analysis, develop, and maintain an inventory for tracking requests. Analyzes data to help drive program performance.
Researches the market for best practices. Advises leadership on with proposed evidence-based solutions and maintain open communication with requestors and clinical leadership.
Develops and maintains an inventory database management system for tracking existing clinical pathways and other clinical decision support tools.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience. Experience in program management, clinical pathway development, and/or EHR system/EPIC preferred

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications- Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Web based applications for collecting/reporting data (SharePoint, REDCap)
